Payroll & Systems Specialist (Kanab, UT or Remote) buy in US, Free Classifieds Ads

Position Summary: The Payroll & Systems Specialist is responsible for supporting the comprehensive payroll outsourcing for the entire organization in addition to helping in the management of the data and the vendor to ensure successful payroll processing. This includes but is not limited to auditing employee data, time data and proposed payroll output. In addition, this individual will support the HR Operations Manager in the operation, maintenance and management of all HR related systems and solutions with a focus on the core HRIS - ADP WorkforceNow.
Recurring Duties:
Data entry in support of the core HRIS as may be needed to ensure appropriate execution of time, payroll and taxes
Working with the ADP WorkforceNow service team to manage system updates and changes to ensure legal compliance
Working with the Manager, HR Operations to change data, build custom reports, validate data changes and communicate changes to others impacted by said changes in HR or across the organization
Act as a support member for the core HRIS for all other HR team members
Guide employees and managers in the handling of complex issues and processes that can impact the HR and HR related systems
Ensure all time is submitted for payroll, payroll is processed each period and payroll is audited before final approval per the vendor SLAs
Provide the Manager, HR Operations validation of completion of all recurring audits
Special Duties & Projects:
Support the HR digital workspace as directed by the Manager, HR Operations to include but not be limited to updating templates, security and content on MS-SharePoint
Training staff on new systems and technologies
Support the management and growth of the HR Systems and Services 3 and 5-year roadmap as directed by the Manager, HR Operations
Other duties as assigned
Experience Requirements:
4-6 years' experience in support of payroll and payroll systems including but not limited to payroll data entry, payroll processing, garnishments and levy support and taxes and tax filings
4-6 years' experience using the MS-Office suite including Visio, Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
2-3 years' experience working as an individual contributor in a team environment
The ability to demonstrate process management, time management and SLA management
Excellent written communications
Excellent verbal communications
3-5 years' experience in ADP WorkforceNow preferred
2-3 years' experience in an outsourced payroll environment preferred
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit for extended periods of time and to complete the necessary work in the defined timeframes
